Everyone around her is finding mates and bear shifter Desdemona "Des" Jacobs is determined not to be left behind. Despite a bad breakup, she decides to try her hand at speed dating.

Lion shifter Drake Sheridan let Des go when they were young. He knows it was a mistake and hopes that they can have a second chance at a mating. When he sees her at the speed dating event, he thinks it's fate bringing them together.
